You should look at the other symptoms for apnea. There should be a list of symptoms over on one of the pages in this website somewhere.
There is such a thing as "silent" apnea (apnea without snoring), but it usually occurs in those who have had surgery to eliminate snoring.
Look at the other symptoms and decide if you think your symptoms are severe enough to see a doc and get it checked out.
I would see a certified sleep specialist and not just a general practitioner if possible. The majority of sleep docs in my area fall into categories of ENT (ear-nose throat), psychiatrists, and heart specialists (cardio pulmonology). I've dealt with all three. I liked dealing with the psychiatrists and heart specialists because they didn't rush to a surgical solution, whereas the ENT's I've seen have all been a bit too keen on cutting on me (they themselves being surgeons). You might want to take this into consideration when checking out specialists. I found it helpful to talk to non-surgeons about the surgical options as they seemed to be more skeptical of the surgical results than the surgeons themselves were.
Best of luck.
