I have the 420S and am thinking about getting a 420E so I'm interested in your situation and how the auto works. If you're settings are 7 and 11 and the machine is taking your to 11 most of the night, it seems you need to raise that higher limit to say 13 for example. I would do that especially if you're feeling tired. The night you ran at 8 may be due to sleeping in a different position or a stuffy nose causing a different result. FWIW I have been told I don't snore but my 420S software says I'm having accoustical vibrations. I really want an autopap but I'm getting concerned that too much data creates more confusion than it helps. If you can't solve this mystery are you able to change the 420E to straight CPAP?
