Hi Sleep Seeker. You shouldn't feel alone on this one. I have had the exact same issue with CPAP. I was diagnosed with sleep apnea for years ago and it has been a rough ride. After the first two years of adjustment, I tried every mask available without success, I finally realized that I was a mouth breather and could only use the full-face mask. I have been using the full-face mask for two years now and still suffer from sleep apnea symptom. I am now in the process of performing my own self-diagnoses. My sleep doc and sleep studies are not working for me. I have been to an allergist to determine that I do not have allergies. Despite the poor results of any OSA related surgery I have made an appointment with an ENT doc for any kind of surgery no matter the risk. I'm becoming desperate. I'm noticing lately that my joints are sore in the morning and that I have no energy. I have also been reading that fibromyalgia could be caused by untreated seep apnea. It's bad enough that we have to put up with CPAP but what if CPAP doesn't work? I've been trying to find out about this for sometime now. For me CPAP just doesn't seem to work. What are you suppose to do when you have sleep apnea and the only available source of relief does not work. Know one seems to have the answer.
