I too was expecting a miracle as it was the experience of my father & sister when they got their CPAP machines the first night. However, reading this forum gave me hope & the decision to carry on with optimism that it would eventually work. I was exhausted & not feeling good for about 2 1/2 + weeks.

I've had my CPAP machine 4 weeks now. At week 3 I finally started feeling better. I'm realizing it's a slow process & my body is healing. I've had people comment on how much better my color is and "am I losing weight?" (I wish) This past weekend I was my normal chatty self in the car riding with my husband--in the evening, it was dark and the miracle was that I had NO intention of going to sleep AND that I felt cheerful & talkative.

I'm getting myself back. I don't like going to sleep at night because of the mask & machine, on the other hand, what a miracle it is on the many nights I've slept right through.

Hang in there.
