Most CPAP users need a heated humidifier. Note that almost all CPAP's have an international power supply, whereas most separate humidifiers don't. As far as I know, all integrated and built-in humidifiers do have an international supply.

If you have problems, don't hesitiate to call the doctor, the sleep lab, or the DME for asssistance. If you feel that the pressure is not correct, you're a candidate for early re-titration.

Oops, almost forgot to mention the most common mistake, making the headgear too tight. Most masks use the pressure delivered through the hose to complete the seal.
