First Night on CPAP Nightmares

Posted by masked_avenger on April 15, 2004 at 06:04:29:

Hi, All,

Just finshed first night on new CPAP. I do seem to feel more awake this AM.

Was a little disappointing. In the CPAP test I took, the mask seemed to fit OK and I slept right through to the morning.

Last night, I had quite a few very vivid nightmares which woke me up. I'm hoping that it means I'm catching up on my REM Sleep - a good thing.

Anyone else have similar experiences when starting out on a CPAP?

Thanks
