I have the same setup and I solved the problem by using a piece of tape across my mouth. I don't tape across the length of my lips, but virtically with 1" tape, leaving plenty of room to still force the lips open if I need to cough or something. It sounds terrible but it is working well for me. So look at waterproof tape and give it a try.

Oh, my wife keeps saying that she wants me to write a letter to have on my night stand so that if there is an incident where emergency personnel must come in, they can see that I did it to myself and not something she did to me.
