I have had my CPAP (also a Remstar Pro with the C-flex) for a little over a month and find I am just starting to get used to it. At first, the sound of my breathing was really disconcerting. It kind of freaked me out and I couldn't use the machine for any length of time. Within about a week, however, I started to get used to it. When I would put on the mask I would actually try to concentrate on hearing the sound and take nice slow, deep breaths. I could hear if I was doing it, and it caused me to relax and fall asleep easier! I just imagine it is the sound of the ocean and I'm in a wonderful tropical place...seems to work for me.

Now I just have to get used to wearing it all night. I can definitely tell the difference when I have worn it and when I haven't. (My eyelids don't feel heavy.)

Keep going, it will get better. :)
