My machine doesn't make much noise. The most irritating about it to my bed partner is the lit buttons. I keep a hand towel over them at night.

I hear a high pitched rhythm to the machine but no one else does. Once I am asleep I don't hear it. :-) And if my head is on the pillow at just the wrong angle, it will start to leak and wake her up.

Oh, and appearantly when I talk in my sleep, it is a hoot to hear because of the air rushing out my mouth.
