Most people adjust to the feeling of the air pressure after a couple of weeks...its just one of those things you have to deal with when adjusting to xPAP therapy. In fact after a while of being on xPAP most users start worrying that their machine is broke because they can't feel the air anymore...of course a quick lift of the mask off your face lets you know the air is still flowing just fine. Its like anything new...there is a period of time for adjustments that you have to get through.

You may want to look into nasal pillow type interface instead of a nasal mask so that you don't have the feeling of air on the outside of your nose. I use the Breeze nasal pillow interface it is a lot more comfortable in part because the air goes dirrectly into the nares of your nose. For some reason when I use a nasal mask my nose tends to get those annoying itches and I got tired of having to lift my mask up to scratch it. There are some other brands of dirrect nasal interfaces if you do a search at online CPAP stores- another one a lot of people use is Nasalaire that you may want to consider.

Good luck on your titration,
Christine
