I had the same problem at my first sleep study. The sleep tech didn't help me with any positive ideas. I figured it out when I got my machine. All I did was close my mouth and breathe through my nose. During the sleep study I had my mouth open. Because of having a PPP, I vent air out my mouth and have to use micropore paper tape to tape my lips shut.
