Sounds to me like you're off to a great start!

One of the common issues with CPAP is that once a chronically sleep-deprived OSA sufferer experiences restful, deep sleep again, they may only sleep for two or three hours and then wake up, feeling somewhat rested and ready to start the day.

As I understand it, you sort of have to learn to sleep all over again. Gradually you should be able to sleep for longer periods as your body adjusts to normal sleep again.
