Thanks for such a detailed response -- although some of it is a bit over my non-technical head....So let me ask you this:
Since UARS often escapes detection via standard testing, would it make any sense to try one of those machines that are designed specifically for UARS? I seem to recall one, but cant recall the name if it, I think it had the word Night or Knight in the name....
the manufacturer's rep/therapist was telling me about it a couple of years ago
Would it make sense to just try the machine and see if it brings relief? Or is that unwise?
The docs I have seen have told me that UARS is "a step down" from apnea, and that if you have apnea, and are being treated for it, that you shouldnt worry about UARS
this is somewhat disturbing, since more than one of them have told me this, yet this seems to be contrary to a couple of the stories told here by those who have untreated UARS....
