Low thyroid and apnea?

Posted by Sleepy Time Time on June 04, 2004 at 12:22:24:

I know someone who is very active in alternative-medicine circles and she says she has been doing some reading about studies that link sleep apnea to low thyroid.

Has anyone ever heard of this link?

There is a school of thought that says that standard thyroid testing results in many, many "false normal" results and that many people who actually have low thyroid are testing normal in these tests and are going untreated
