I had just about all the symptoms associated with OSA. I had short term memory loss, headaches, poor reflexes, I would fall asleep during the day.
The critical point was reached when I fell asleep driving. Fortunately I woke up before anything serious happened. After that, I went to see a neurologist who suggested that I go to the sleep lab. Oh, I also snored quite loudly and would have to go to the bathroom a lot during the night.
Now if I don't use my CPAP and get very little sleep if I'm up for a while I become disoriented and experience dizziness to the extent that I have to hold onto something to avoid falling down.
OSA is a quite serious disability that must be dealt with immediately or else it can be life threatening.
