The Respironics Virtuoso is the worst auto-adjusting CPAP machine on the market. It is older technology that detects only snores, and then not everyone's snores. It may not be responding to your breathing disorder and starving you of needed pressure in auto mode.

Even if you are using it only in CPAP mode, the machine does not record needed data that may be necessary to further diagnose your condition.

Dump the Virtuoso immediatedly and get upgraded to a Respironics Remstar Auto. This is currently the top of the line. It could make a big difference, but if it doesn't immediately, at least your doctor or DME will be able to download the more extensive data of this machine and determine if mixed or central apneas are occuring.

I would also recommend getting off any anti-depressents that you are on currently. Many can affect the REM stage of sleep.
