I agree with you Barb! I've been on CPAP for 4 years (or is it 5?) and was overweight when started but haven't lost much since then, even though I've been 100% compliant.

I'm at 250, 5' 10" and am probably 70 pounds overweight (by the weight/height charts) and about 50 pounds over what I'd like to be at.

I don't think apnea was the main culprit, but I'm sure that it contributed some. I think stress and a sedintary life style is probably more to blame (I'm a computer programmer and my fingers get a good workout, but nothing else when I'm at work!). I'm trying to change that, but losing weight is HARD regardless of how/why you put it on, at least for me.
