Traveling with my CPAP in China was pretty easy overall. The Chinese tend to treat visitors with respect and they are sensitive to medical issues. However, they probably will count your CPAP as a carry-on and may or may not want you to check excess bags--enforcement seems to vary from airline to airline. Also, they often weigh all your luggage and charge for the excess.
I found a couple of different electrical socket styles in use, but didn't have trouble finding whatever style I needed in stores.
I didn't try to find distilled water and relied on good bottled drinking water for my humidifier. No noticeable scale builup after several weeks.
Be sure to take extra filters if you're going to be there a while. The air can be extremely dusty and dirty and filters don't last long.
I don't know if you'd have trouble replacing a broken CPAP unity there--luckily I didn't have to try.
Visiting China is an incredible experience. Enjoy yourself!
