These are good questions, did you express any of these concerns when talking to him?

I am on a pressure of 9 and when my machine went out during a power failure once, I began having problems with it (would cut off during the night and not be able to restart). I switched to my husbands cpap (lower pressure of 7) because it had been sitting unused in a closet for over 2 years.

Well, I couldn't handle it, I did feel as if I was being denied air. But, that could just be me.

My advice is to discuss it with your doctor.
