If your sleep apnea is not under control, your blood oxygen level could be dropping at night, which may mean your baby's blood oxygen level would also drop; remember you're now BREATHING for two! What are the ramifications for your baby's brain and organ development if he is experiencing reduced oxygen levels? If I were you, these are questions I would want answered immediately. Perhaps your OB could at least order a night-time check of your oxygen levels prior to the new titration. Your getting good sleep is not the most important issue here; having a healthy baby is! The 2nd most important issue is your own health, i.e. preventing permanent heart damage. If your sleep apnea is getting worse now, it is not likely to get better during the last 2 months of your pregnancy. Perhaps you should consider an auto-pap for your changing circumstances. Good luck to you!
