New alternate source of the heated hose will be from one of the mainstream PAP manufacturers. I THINK it might be F&P. Not sure of the timing,except "soon", which can be 3 months to a year in FDA regulated industries.

Not sure if it will have a fuse. I would be NICE if it came with its own fused power source.

I have considered splicing in a an in-line car fuse for the hose, since those are 12 volt systems too.

It would be a very rare and odd circumstance to have a problem that would need a fuse with this system. I wouldn't lose sleep over it :-) but it would be a "nice to have".

Its just coming up on the season where the heated hose would really start to pay off. If you have had rainout issues in the summer, It will be a REAL problem come winter.
