I brought in my CPAP for surgery with all paperwork in it. I am glad I had my name and identification, because it kept getting pushed aside as I was moved around.
I ended up having problems with the spinal block (my back still hurts), so they ended up putting me under for surgery. I woke up with a sore throat but felt GREAT. They ended up sticking a tube down my throat and pumping in oxygen. Best sleep I have had in YEARS, even managed to DREAM and it was a short surgery. Not sure I would try THAT method of "CPAP" on a regular basis though. :-)

I never did have to use the Autopap I brought for this outpatient surgery. My AHI was higher than normal sleeping drugged that night, but at 8, it was still within reason.
