Back Pain. It is normal?

Posted by tonoch on October 26, 2004 at 14:33:58:

Hello all.
I know that this issue should be discused several times, and as I can see, it is kind of normal to have this pain in the back when you uses your CPAP mask. I have already 5 months with my mask and I was having this pain since the begining, some times is much worst and some other is not. I was trying with different pillows and positions and some times it helps, but what is the recommended procedure, should I take something for the pain? fow how long should I do it? Is this caused by the position or it is something related with the air pressure? I'm not still clear on that.

Thanks a lot for all the comments and advices you can give me. I was suffering this for a while and I'm now realizing that this is kind of common.

Tonoch.
