Short answer- Yes you are giving up too quickly.
Many report the initial irritation, but this usually goes away soon.
You need more time with the breeze to properly assess it.
I am highly biased to the Breeze, I cannot imagine anyone not using it.

It takes a bit of time to properly adjust it.
Time and patience are important here.
The gel maksk are inherently leak prone in their design. The breeze does not leak at all if adjusted properly.
