Hello,

You must keep in mind that the effects of sleep apnea do not appear or dissappear overnight. CPAP is not a magic bullet that cures all instantly.

In the past ten years I have put on 80 extra pounds. I realize that just dragging the extra weight around makes me tired. If you do not believe me carry two 40 pound buckets around all day and tell me you are not tired when you put them down to go to bed.

Yes, I am resting better now on CPAP, but the side effect of weight gain has to be concquerred before I know exactly how tired I am.

It took 10 years for the symptoms of apnea to creep up on me. I imagine it will take years for them to leave, and that includes losing the weight I put on because of apnea.

Give it TONS of time to improve.

Silenced Thunder
