What are the acceptable IA, IAH...

Posted by Marcogilbert on October 29, 2004 at 07:16:20:

Hi,

I got my CPAP (Resmed S7-Elite) last monday and I use the Resmed Swift Mask (nasal pillows).

I checked my clinical results (holding the long bottom button and the red right button for 5 seconds) and I am wondering if my CPAP is usefull because I get some information that seems to indicate a problem.

I have a average leak of 0.6 L and I do not think it is normal. Maybe my mouth open when I am asleep.

Moreover, I have an average IAH of 16,75 and IA of 5.7.

Are those values normal or not ?

Thanks
