It means that not much humidity is being added to the air you are breathing every night and for many people -- not all -- the sinuses are dry and irritated to some extent, leading to the possibility of rhinitis, congestion and other annoying conditions. People have posted that their problems went away when the heat was increased and more water used. High humidification is very necessary for me; CPAP use would not be possible for me without it.
