From your post, it sounds as if you successfully fall asleep with CPAP, then awaken during the night. If that is what is happening, you might need to have the pressure raised a bit. It is not uncommon for that to happen. Some doctors will prescribe an increase without a further sleep study, others will send you for a retitration.

On the other hand, if it is happening during the ramp-up period, eliminating the ramp will probably solve the problem.

I take it you are not experiencing any stuffy nose that would hamper air flow?
