I've only been on APAP for less than a month, but I can say that it's a comfort just knowing I'm doing everything I can to stay healthy and feel better.

I do know I'm sleeping through the night most nights, and that's HUGE for me.

And the rebound REM dreams are Oscar worthy. Who knew my brain would have that kind of creative talent? I'm sure yours will as well. Maybe a dream diary would be interesting.

You could write a sentence or two each day that outlines your day by day observations of improvement - or not, depending on the day. Then, after a week or two, review what you've written. You'll probably be pleasantly surprised.

It might be interesting to record daily feelings/activities as well, just to have a baseline to look back on.

This will give you something to concentrate on while you're awaiting all the good stuff CPAP can bring.

Hang in there, and stay busy while you await the rewards.
