I have been on CPCP since June, diagnosed with severe apnea. I noticed a drastic difference from the moment I started, not being sleepy at work during the day, having more energy, not needing naps when I got home and getting up much earlier on Saturdays. I haven't dreamed at all since being on CPAP, but I must be getting REM sleep, or I wouldn't feel so much better. I've been 100% compliant with it, and, other than occasional leaks that can be fixed by rearranging the gear, have had no problems. Good luck to you.
