Sorry no one answwered or addressed your concerns. This topic has been much discussed. Use the Search button to look at archived material dating back several years. You'll almost certainly find your answer there. IMHO, though, if you're seeing a doctor to rule out other serious health considerations, you're probably experiencing the soreness that most new CPAP users experience for the first week or so. You're working a bit harder to exhale, sleeping in new positions, etc.
