Jake, thanks for your reply and sorry to take so long to get back to you. Like you I think the Epstein Barr virus was the start of my sleep problems. I've been diagnosed with mild hypopnea and during the last year have started to snore and that's when the sleep problems got worse. I think my main problem is really the snoring and I have been fitted with a mandibular device which helps a bit but not much. I also have the symptoms of apnea in that I sweat a lot during the night, wake frequently, wake with dry mouth, sore throat and headache. I'm having another sleep study done this Friday and hopefully will be a little clearer about what the problem is after that. I'm thinking if the snoring is the problem of having LAUP or UPPP surgery if doc thinks it will help.
