The severity of my case made the improvement in my condition immediate and extremely obvious. For those who don't have it so severely, the relief is more gradual and subtle (but very real).

I believe that the biggest problems with compliance are (1) failure to use a heated humidifier, and (2) not having an accurate initial titration (especially for those who had a “split night”).

Form reading this forum, I have come o believe that most of the other newbie problems are outgrowths of the two listed above. For example, the mask will “bother” you if you’re awake, but not if you’re asleep.
