Newbie with Questions

Posted by mymisfit on March 04, 2005 at 21:42:23:

I've been on cpap for three months and am on my second mask, the Breeze with nasal pillows. My questions: (1) the pillows fit perfectly some nights and fight me all night long on other nights. Is this a common problem? (2) In a heated humidifier can you feel warm air? Mine is up between 5 and 6 (6 being the highest it goes) and the air is ice cold. this is even with the heated coil hose I bought from Austrailia, which took care of all rainout problems I'd been having.
The cold air is affecting my ears and making my chest and nasal passages sore. I've put a towel under the unit, have the heated hose, and keep the hose under the blankets, with room temp of 62 degrees.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for you help/ddistired
