I was a mouth breather when I started on CPAP. I had the bright idea of trying various sports mouth guard devices (i.e. boxing, football etc)instead of a chin strap. They did work great except for one small problem. Massive drool. I would wake up in the morning and the pillow would be soaked. I suspect that is a problem with all the mouth devices that have an external hookup.

Try sleeping with a sports mouth piece you can boil and see if you have a drool problem - a lot cheaper than trying this new CPAP device. I guess you noticed how popular it is.
