Thank you for answering.. however I called BEFORE the study was done [when I saw the consent for lab work], told her I had recent labs I could bring in, and the tech told me not to worry about it.

Now, all of a sudden...the doc wants a zillion labs AFTER the study and my mind is going a hundred miles an hour.

Even if I get them done tomorrow...the results would not get back to my PCP until next week and lord knows when to the sleep lab.

Not KNOWING why he wants all of these is worse than knowing.

I wish he would of also had the courtesy to call ME instead of just sending off a note for labs to my PCP..saying what and why his concerns were that warranted this sudden request.

PS.I do have chronic HEP C, hypertension (controlled) and take some heavy duty meds for chronic pain. Trying to figure out WHAT may be the root of any problem [if there are some] is going to be a nightmare.

Anyone who works in a lab know why labs are asked for AFTER testing is done?
