Trouble adjusting to autopap?

Posted by sue ellen on March 03, 2005 at 14:11:01:

Has anyone had trouble adjusting to the varying pressures of an autopap? I suggested to my sleep doc that since I have lots of congestion problems, an autopap might be good for me. He was against it-said I would have too much trouble adjusting to the changing pressure and he thinks a bipap is better. Have any of you had trouble using an autopap?

Right now, it looks like I have to have a bipap tritration and a one month trial before the doc will discuss auto pap again.
