Extended Warranty

Posted by MrSundayNight on March 03, 2005 at 15:34:58:

Different kind of question here:

I just bought my first CPAP today. They included a 3 year warranty with it, and offered an extra 2 years for 200 bucks. I turned it down, thinking that I'd probably buy a new machine sometime in the future.

Should I have bought the warranty? How reliable are these machines usually? I know every machine is different...but on the average....do people find that their machine breaks down after a year or two?
