Thanks for the info SLG. I have always used a heated humidifier set at maximum. I too have allergies and am overweight. My weight gain is definitely associated with sleep apnea. I have been watching my carb intake and have lost 37 lbs. since Aug. I lose faster when I exercise. Pain from fibromyalgia and arthritis limit my exercising. Last summer a friend gave us her old hot tub. That has been a huge help.

Were you able to order an auto pap using a script for a CPAP? My insurance pays 1/2 of my dme and said they would reimburse me up to the cost of a CPAP and I could pay the rest for the auto Pap.

Thanks to you and everyone here for providing a support group for all of us coping with this challenging condition.
