Some doctors will let you take something, others won't. Mine let me since I was having such horrible insomnia at the time. The problem is that sleeping pills change your sleep architecture and also can cause more apneas. So if you take pills the results may not be accurate. But my doctor said if you're not going to sleep, what's the point. So he let me take Klonopin.
