Tonight I placed the humidifier on the floor...and the machine on the lower level of a two level nightstand I have. The hoses were the right length to do this, but it wouldn't have worked if they both had been on the floor, as the hose would have been too short to suspend from the headboard. The hose is coming straight up out of the canister, then comes through a string over my headboard, and down to my face. Hopefully, I won't have condensation in the mask, and will be able to breathe :-) I am wondering the same thing. Why can't they just supply some type of insulating material for the hose? What should I use? And, how do I make this? I'm not a seamstress *rolleyes*
