Is this normal?

Posted by lost on April 21, 2005 at 07:03:13:

I am finally getting use to my c-pap with many trials and errors! Because of repeated sinus congestion and infections I have resorted to using my full face mask and have become use to it, even feel secure with it on and I fall asleep all most as soon as I put it on! I am sleeping longer but still wake up about 2 or 3 in the morning and I think that must be from before cpap habit. I go back to sleep soon after. Here is the deal now I have started sleeping through my alarm in the morning and just barely waking up in time to get to work on time! I also still feel like I could sleep for hours more, not in the same way as before cpap where I fought to stay awake, but just the feeling that if I didnt have to get up I could sleep a lot longer. I always get to bed in time for 8 hours sleep even though I still wake up inbetween. Also my pressure is 20 and it felt very strong at first and was hard to get use to but now I have to check to make sure the cpap is still on! Is this normal?
