I have to agree with you on the sinuses not being so inflammed until I started using cpap. I believe I am doing everything right, I keep all parts and water container clean, not using soaps but vinegar and water, and I use a heated humidifier that uses at least half the water in container during the night. I can start out being able to breath through my nose and end up waking up in the middle of the night with my nose horribly congested, hense the use of the full face mask. I can then breath through my nose until it gets congested then breath through my mouth. I use prescription flonase at night and I take allergra 180, I also have asthma so I take singular, advair and use albuteral and with all these medications I still get congested.
