Central Apneas are defined as lack of respiration in both air flow and the lack of your body's effort to breath.
Are you on CPAP or BiPAP now? As ar as common goes, there are many things to consider, things like your health in general,smoker or non-smoker, medications you may take, etc.
I am sure your Sleep Specialist, M.D. will take good care of you. Make a list of questions to ask when you go back to see him/her. It is equally important to the doc that you understand the ins and outs of your treatment; you will be more likely to be compliant.
