Sixty events per hour (which is one per minute) indicates serious sleep fragmentation. Presumably, (s)he is awakened by these events before his(her) oxygen level falls significantly. Despite good blood oxygen saturation, (s)he is not getting adequate or quality sleep. This is certainly "life-style threatening" and probably life-threatening!
