Same old tome, "give it more time". That is what I got for a couple of years. Not so much this forum but my sleep doctor. I had 7 overnight studies and never did figure things out. I quit out of deseration after two years. After another couple I changed sleep docs and started reviewing the info myself so I could ask questions. Found out the machine induced central apnea at about the same rate as the obstructive events it stopped. I have had the jaw advancement surgery and the obstructive events are down from 60/hour to essentially 0. I now have some centrals but the xPAP doesn't do any good for them. I beleive I now have them from using the machine for so long but that is just my personal opinion. A few days isn't long enough to start looking for other answers but after you have tried a lot of the suggestions from this forum and given it a real try, know there are alternatives to the pump. Good luck.
