As someone mentioned earlier, you may want to look into getting an insulating cover for your hose. My wife made me one with some scrap material she had.

My machine sets on the floor with the hose going slightly over the headboard (actually through a side hole). I used to have severe problems with condensation, but the insulating sleeve really helped.
