when you say it doesn't work, do you mean:
a. no air come out of the hose and into your nose?
b. air comes out but you wake up snoring or not breathing anyway?
c. you can't get to sleep at all with the mask on?
d. you don't remember snoring or gasping for air, you just wake up?

it took me a couple of nights to get used to it. and for a couple of more weeks after that i was taking off the mask in the middle of the night and had to wake up and put it back on. but, i did get used to it and it's compltely changed my life! Now I sleep peacefully for 8 hours a night and wake up rested - something I had not done for years before my cpap.

so, if air is coming out and if you can get the mask to stay on tight enough to make a seal around your nose but not too tight (major mistake a lot of us make), keep trying it. I also tried it when i took a nap in the afternoon, wearing it only for an hour or two at the begining helped.

you'll need to describe your problems in more detail to get more helpful answers. hope this bit helps!
