CPAP on train travel works nicely

Posted by Train Master on July 12, 2005 at 18:40:50:

Hello fellow hose heads,

I have tried using cpap on train travel finally, I found out a good quality surge arrester will protect the machine very well. The biggest issue is to put the machine where you will not step on it or trip over it.

I manage to fit the cpap in my sleeping compartment for one[known as a roomette] I place the machine above my head as been a shortie made me able place the machine above my head and pillow. Plus I had a good length power cord on the surge arrest power board, as it caters 4 power sockets so I was able to powere the cpap.

I slept well with the machine above my head, however taller people might not be able to get away with what I did with my cpap, shuffling down in the bed and placing it above my head. Good positon as the hose functioned nicely despite placed above my head.

Now I know how to use it on train travelling I will sleep like gem!!!!
