fit for a mask

Posted by Petie Bear on July 12, 2005 at 18:54:09:

Hi everyone. I have been on Cpap for almost 2 months now. I am have great difficulties with the mask the hospital gave me... Comfort Select. I am getting an appointment with my therapist next week but thought with all the collective experience here, you might give me pointers about what to look for in a mask. At this point I'm not sure what makes a good mask. They gave me another mask last week. It is almost identical to the hospital's but softer and I'm getting even more leaks. They say I can get more leaks if I have it on too tight. How do I know if it ison right? Most my leak problem is on the sides of the bridge of my nose. It blows onto my eyes. Any help or advice would be great. Thanks.
